What’s been goin’ on?

Hello, hello out there! Is this thing still on?
Yeah it’s been a quiet four months from me here on this blog. But I do love writing for writing’s sake and want to get back to that now. Since we last talked, I’ve released 6 episodes on the Bad Millennial podcast—everything from welcoming in the new year to talking with Jorge about being the last millennial (a 1995 baby) and Elissa’s take on attachment styles to diving deep into bookstagram with Jackie and her top recommended books for millennials. I even turned 31 in April, fully into my Bad Millennial era, yesss! It’s a been a good time here in 2024!
I’m also kind of rethinking the whole Toilet Thoughts and Shower Solilouqies segment, with the latest coming from Elissa’s brain. Besides it being a mouthful to say, are we really feeling it as a segment? I don’t know for sure. On the one hand, it’s so fun and interesting getting everyone’s unique stories and random perspectives on whatever they’ve been thinking about. On the other hand… toilet humor is such low hanging stinky fruit, ain’t it? Haha.
So maybe that segment will be wrapped up or turned into something new, who knows? I don’t. Let me know your thoughts though. I always welcome the feedback, and there’s plenty of ways you can give it! Find me everywhere online!
So What’s New?
While I muse on that, I’m looking forward to batch recording more and securing more interviews now that I’ve finally got my rhythm. Recording online is a much less messier (and better sounding) affair than trying to cram two people together in person on one laptop.
And on that note… I’m so excited for you guys to hear episodes 20 and 21, featuring Trevor Gravesande IV! Since he has such a close connection to the world of love and romance (his brother Clay was on Love Is Blind fyi), I had to get his POV on it all. Left with so many takeaways from the guy’s side that I had to split it into two parts! Let me know your thoughts as soon as you hear it——do you agree with his points? Anything you would add to his philosophies on dating, self-discovery, and love?
