A Bad Millennial Wrap Up for 2023
2023 was strange, to say the least.
From alien cover-ups (& government confirmation?!) to uncanny AI deepfakes and renderings across seemingly every medium, reality became a bit funny. A bit fuzzy. A bit fake—because when things are no longer grounded in reality, everything around you starts to feel like a fantasy, like make believe.
But out of all the chaos and confusion that eventually made 2023 into… 2023, one thing was made clear: There’s nothing funny, fuzzy, or fake about how much y’all, my awesome listeners, love this show.
This year more than ever, listeners turned to their favorite podcasts for grounding, inspiration, comfort and connection. I hope that with the Bad Millennial podcast, however rocky and bumpy it is, was no different.
bad mil·len·nial: An ambitious, unique, innovative individual
According to Spotify’s Wrapped, the episode that listeners loved tuning into on Spotify was Episode 4: The One About Love, Life & Relationships | w Maya.
In this one, we touched on newly married life as a millennial, relationship advice, and how growing as a couple takes work. This was also my first video episode EVER. Nice to know y’all love seeing our bright, beautiful faces.
On YouTube, the current top ranked favorite is Episode 6: Millennial Milestones Pt 1 | w Cat where we talked about a lot of life moments and the growth we’ve seen in ourselves from college til now.
Being grown-ish millennials, we know that real life takes work and sharing some of the ups and downs only makes the journey that more richer.
All in all, I’m so glad y‘all like when I chat with my girlfriends! I’m going to try to keep up that same energy in 2024. It’s been fun to connect and relate to others while we all get the chance to learn even more from their stories and life experiences as Bad Millennials. Couldn’t have asked for a better combo, and I hope you feel the same.
